Preventative Maintenance Condition Survey/Report

The survey consists of a comprehensive underwater inspection of the swimming pool tank(s) and an overview of the immediate pool surrounds/decking. The inspection is carried out at a time convenient to yourself when the pool is closed to public and is usually either early morning or late at night .

The completed report will provide you with a detailed position statement of the current condition of your pool facility and will identify defects such as:- Broken /cracked tiles, perished/damaged expansion material, security of inlets and outlets etc. and will be supported by photographic evidence showing the detailed defects/defaults.

Increasingly, Managers and their Management Teams are required to maintain and manage pool facilities, and their associated income targets, within controlled budget constraints often containing expenditure restrictions. By using the services offered by U.P.S. and imp-articular its Preventative Maintenance Condition Survey/Report process this allows managers to achieve their targets and maintain operation while repairs are carried out.

An annual underwater survey/inspection identifies defects and defaults which maybe in the early stages of development , and by carrying out repairs to the detailed defects underwater eliminates the potential loss of income, water and unexpected closure of the pool. The Process also assists Managers in developing budgets, or identifying alternate funding sources, and developing programmed time scales should major repair works be required in the future.

Additional to the above the survey/inspection also details any health and safety issues and bearing in mind today's society's attitude for making claims for injuries caused within public premises, reduces the potential of claims against the operator and/or the council for negligence.

I am sure you will agree with the importance of carrying out our Preventative Maintenance Condition Survey/Report, as it provides you with an additional tool to assist you in the forward planning of maintenance works and being more proactive. It also gives you Peace of mind with the regard to the safety of the pool facilities and its users.

We could anticipate that of minimum of 1½ to 2½ hours maybe required which is dependant on the scale of the defects identified.

 

 

We are currently offering surveys at a reduced rate which will remain in place until 31st March 2012

If you require surveys after this date but place the order prior to 31st March 2012 we will honour the reduced cost until 30th June 2012.
